Airco DH.2
4,404 ALMIGHTYFRIDGE

the first in my WWI series, took me about two and a half days to build. The controls are a little sluggish so watch out. Please upvote or comment. If you have anything else WWI related please comment on my forum WWI Series.

:o whaaaaaat! This is awesome! What about a Caproni ca.3?
Other than not having a rotary engine, which is really hard to do, so understandable, lovely flyer, and it’s my favorite WWI aircraft so bonus points there, amazing work
Thanks @EternalDarkness, for the sopwith camel agility will be a high priority
@VerldVarIII feel free to tag me on it once it's done, if you make it. Also, a bit of feedback as I was in a hurry when I first commented here:
You should work more on performance. I'd expect a fighter like this one to roll a lot better, and not to accelerate as quickly. You can get realistic top speed and realistic acceleration by reducing drag and reducing engine power. Also, you can make far better wings with fuselage blocks, With rectangular wing shape that you have on most WWI planes, you can have perfect airfoil with only a few parts per wing.
I'll definitely try that @EternalDarkness
Noicely done m8
This is absolutely fantastic! What a lovely build of a great looking and more uncommon aircraft.
Very nice job . Great plane .
I was thinking of making this as the next wwI fighter of mine but looks like you beat me to it! Nice build :)
I don't remember seeing any Airco's on the site. Nice work.
I suggest Hansa Brandenburg W.29. It's not a very common build, and it's somewhat unusual and interesting.
Just to make it more user friendly @ThePropellerIsAFan
I think you should build a Sopwith Camel as well. I have posted one. Check it out!
Why so much fuel?
@VerldVarIII ok
I'll do a Fokker Triplane then a Sopwith Camel @Noname918181
You should build a Sopwith camel
Very unique design with propeller in the back
@asteroidbook345
Good
