Ruger Mk IIS
"You would be surprised how useful a .22 caliber pistol is in military service. If we have to infiltrate a tunnel system or pick off a sentry, the first thing we grab is the silenced .22 caliber pistol. The damn thing is so quiet that you can hear the firing pin strike the primer."
-Anonymous, Paternian Army, 101th Scout Ranger Regiment.
The humble Ruger Mk II. 10 shots, .22 Long Rifle. It's not particularly powerful by any standard, but stopping power was never a consideration in its construction. Cheap, reliable, and accurate, the Ruger Mk II is one of the most produced pistols of all time. Unlike most pistols, the Ruger Mk II uses a rear cocking system derived from the Type 14 Nambu, which Ruger had on hand, courtesy of a former US Marine.
This example is a suppressed variant, employed by pest control officers and special forces such as the fictional Paternian Scout Rangers and the real US Navy SEALS. The suppressor in question is the Mk 90, a wipeless .22 LR suppressor of the Paternian Armed Forces, for use in covert operations as well as training near populated areas. It retains its accuracy up to 50 meters, although the pistol is designed to be used at ranges much closer than that. In Paternian service, it has largely replaced the Welrod in most applications requiring a silenced pistol, due to its practically silent nature, greater magazine capacity, higher accuracy, and improved capability to make followup shots if necessary.

I've shot a 22. Rifle before, and then I realized it had less recoil than some nerf guns.
The design reminds me of an old German P08 Luger. Great job!
@Pilotmario it's ALWAYS the suppressor :P
@YuukaNeko It's the suppressor, isn't it?
I mean... this is begging for a super-tactical remake, I can feel it X3
This is much quieter. @PyrusEnderhunter
This is a great gun! But why should I buy? Why can't I just buy an M1911 with a suppressor?
Cool! They make a Mark 4 now. @Liquidfox @YuukaNeko
Is a real gun?
