A.A.I XF-2 Mirage Thunder
So I have noticed something...
A couple of people, not mentioning their names, have rivalled and challenged my aircraft, and all of them seem to go for Low cost combat aircraft to counter my more expensive, bigger, and sophisticated fighters...
Well since I'm financially challenged and my company budget spending is through the roof at the moment, I will play the low cost game for all my cheap air forces out there. mainly to compete with low cost fighters on the Market
The XF-2 is a low cost, high performance Strike fighter-bomber mad specifically for small and/or developing nations in need of an air force. Just for $249,000, you can get a single engine, single seat, twin tail aircraft similar to that of the Mirage F1, that boasts high weapons payload capacity, High speed and agility, Advanced Link-16 datalink, high fuel efficiency and Advanced defense suite, including new IRCM flares and Advanced DIRCM. With MFD's and a helmet mounted sight, the XF-2 is more than capable in a modern era dogfight. It possesses an RSN-8 AESA Radar capable of tracking up to 60 targets and firing on 6 simultaneously. It can be fitted with pylons for the Meteor BVR missile, to easily tackle beyond visual range engagements. But its greatest ability, lies within its rough field capabilities. With its slats and fowler flaps, along with debris intake protection seals, the XF-2 can operate from semi-prepared airstrips with ease, and land on small strips of 80 meters. All and All the XF-2, while cheap, is a highly capable machine that can be easily bought in huge numbers, modified to the customers preference and used in even the intense modern day battlefield, with standing up and possibly toe to toe against the best of the best.
Yeah, its a simple build but don't worry, for you rich nations the big bad and deadly superfighters will make a return, in probably another month because school is right around the corner Other than that, please enjoy my loyal clients. Arigatou!

@EngineerOtaku Credit to Otaku-chan for the fuselage because my lazy ass was too lazy to just make a similar fuselage
@MarbleXLazuli yep
@Tomcatbetterthanhornet 75,000 ... you do realize that's cheaper than most cars right?
Check this out Marble https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/7JGrY7/F-102A-Dragonfly
@Griffon1 you have no idea lmao
Damn guess I gotta release the dragonfly
wew
@Griffon1 Its time to lead the low cost charge
@Falkenwut Arigatou
@KitsuneassemblylinesKAL Interesting
249 thousand? That's an absolute steal.
The era of cost-effective warplanes has begun...
@KitsuneassemblylinesKAL I also found out that if you give it 6% power you can get around the in flight refueling speed of the K.A.L. 2770
@MarbleXLazuli I like the looks of it
What happens when an F-105 and F-18 make a plane... This happens xD
Awesome plane concept! I love it! Deserves a higher definition down the line ;)
@MarbleXLazuli all gud
@EngineerOtaku yeah for some reason it didn't auto-credit so sorry about that
Is that my old F-105 fuselage?
