DHC F/A-282 Stormbreaker
Document I: Description
Document I.A: Synopsis
The F/A-267 is a light, single-seater multirole fighter developed by DHC for the German Luftwaffe and is its tenth aircraft. It is a lightweight design intended mostly for short range reconnaissance and/or patrol operations, though it can be also used as a tactical long range striker to attack distant enemy targets.
Document I.B: Design
Engines
The corporation developed the Wilhelm X.SDR engine simultaneously with the F/A-282 to replace the aging Wilhelm VII.ADG. The engine is weaker and has no thrust vectoring, however is packs a lot to make up for these cons. It has more powerful afterburners, is more compact, and is relatively cheaper to make than the older VII.ADG engine.
Airframe
The Stormbreaker incorporated a brand new tailless delta wing design which the DHC wasn't able to successfully implement on its previous designs. The
design was way more lighter than its three previous predecessors, which made it harder to spot both visually and in radar, had slightly better reliabily, and most importantly cheaper to make. It also implemented a refueling probe, which significantly increased its long range striking capabilities.
Flapevators
The aircraft had moderately slow pitching, which proved to be a problem for its patrol role if it ever had to engage enemy fighters. This issue was solved by making its flaps fully functional elevators which not only can be used for landing, but also significantly increase pitch speed when the aircraft is flying at high speeds.
Document I.C: Armament
The armament of the E6 Weapon package was really large for its wings, and the F/A-282 can only mount about half the missiles a Dunkelhund II can carry. However, a squadron of eight Stormbreakers can land quite a lot of damage to an enemy air base with proper squad coordination.
Document I.D: Production
It was put to production by year 2023, and immediately became the primary staple for the DHC air force patrol squadrons. The nickname it earned from the German Luftwaffe was "Stürmer" [lit. Stormer]. It produced numbers of 1,924 aircraft, with 531 units in active service and 428 units in reserve within the Luftwaffe.

Hello, fellow dogfighters! This is my first attempt at making tailless delta-wing fighters, and I have to say I'm quite impressed with the end result. I might create more delta fighters in the future, but as of now I'm focusing more on studies and expect me to be really inactive as usual. I'll see myself out, and for all you aces, I pray for your safety!
