Auto Credit Based on SpiritusRaptor's USAF Century Fighters
The Convair F-106 Delta Dart was the primary all-weather interceptor aircraft of the United States Air Force from the 1960s through the 1980s. Designed as the so-called "Ultimate Interceptor", it proved to be the last dedicated interceptor in U.S. Air Force service to date.
This build has amazing handling and functional bomb/missile bay. My only peeve with it is that the engine nozzle is misaligned with the actual exhaust flame (had to adjust the CoT). With max thrust achieves the realistic Mach 2.3 but I recommend staying around 60% thrust for best performance and fuel efficiency.
Group 1 and VTOL for rear gear
Group 2 drops tanks
Group 3 and VTOL opens bomb/missile bay
Group 4 drops bomb

39.6k maverickviiHa that's true @karlosdarkness, you can always set the brakes to an unused group so they won't activate9.4 years ago
-
17.4k karlosdarknessLove the use of airbrakes to make up additional bits for the canopy, makes for an interesting landing though when you suddenly find yourself going backwards and upside down.9.4 years ago
