McDonnell Douglas F A-18C (Air-to-Air) 2
CONTROLS: AG1: Arm Weapons AG2: Jettison (Weapon must be selected) AG3: Airbrake AG4: Refueling Probe/Altitude Sync (Makes refueling a bit easier. To extend refueling probe try to maintain a speed below 300 mph.) AG5: Arresting Hook AG6: Navigation Lights AG7: Fold Wings/Canopy Pro Tip: This aircraft performs better at low speeds. It is recommended that you stay between 300-400 mph (483-644 kmh) for tight aerial maneuvers. G-force maxes out around 7.5+ so no need to worry about pulling over g’s. [AIR ENGAGEMENT SETTING] 85% throttle * Carrier Landing Instructions: Flaps down 50%, adjust trim to 25% if necessary, air brake, arresting gear, throttle 15 to 20%, goal is to reduce speed as much as possible while maintaining enough thrust to take off in case you miss arresting wire. Takes some getting use to but you’ll get the hang of it.
