GÖKDENIZ Close-In Weapon System (CIWS)

The GÖKDENIZ Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), developed by ASELSAN, is an advanced air defense solution designed to protect naval vessels from incoming anti-ship missiles using the highly effective 35mm Fragmentation Ammunition (ATOM). This state-of-the-art system features an Automatic Beltless Ammunition Feed Mechanism, allowing the simultaneous loading of fragmentation and high-explosive incendiary (HEI) ammunition, with the capability to select the appropriate type of ammunition based on the target.

Stabilized Weapon Turret: The GÖKDENIZ system is equipped with a stabilized weapon turret that ensures accuracy and stability during firing, even in rough sea conditions.

Integrated Tracking Platform:
Featuring a sophisticated Fire Control Radar and Electro-Optical (E/O) sensors, the integrated tracking platform allows for precise target tracking and engagement, ensuring high hit probability.

3D Search Radar (Optional):
The system can be optionally equipped with a 3D search radar, enhancing its detection and tracking capabilities for incoming threats.

Combat Management System Integration:
GÖKDENIZ is seamlessly integrated with the vessel’s Combat Management System, enabling coordinated and efficient defense operations.

Fully Autonomous Operation:
