J-15 (English: J-15, Chinese nickname: Flying shark, "f-ish", English: Flying shark, NATO Code: flanker D, English: flanker-d) is a single seater twin engine carrier based fighter plane developed and developed by China with reference to the Su-33 fighter plane prototype t-10k-3 obtained from Ukraine based on the domestic J-11 fighter. The J-15 belongs to the improved fourth generation fighter, that is, the fourth generation semi fighter. [1] The J-15 is very similar to the Russian made Su-33 in appearance, but it integrates the technology of J-11B. On the basis of J-11, two new canards and two large thrust engines are added, wing folding is realized, and systems such as lifting device, landing device and arresting hook are newly designed, so that the aircraft can achieve the flight characteristics required by landing under the condition of maintaining excellent operational performance. On December 24, 2015, a new group of J-15 carrier based fighters carried out ship aircraft integration training in a certain sea area of the Navy, and pilots completed multiple subjects training, such as touch ship go around, block ship landing, etc. During the National Day parade in 2019, a naval aviation unit equipped with J-15 carrier aircraft has flown over the parade ground for the fifth time [2]. Chinese name J-15 English name J-15 [1] China's first flight on August 31, 2009 [1]
