Super Sonic Transport - W100 Mark-2

SST100-M2 a three-engined supersonic transport, mainly made for executives and VIPs. This is an upgrade form the SST-100, adding canards for a better stability and a more luxurious interior.

FEATURES

Cabin with 12 Passenger seats
Custom air brakes and flaps (Controlled by VTOL)
Engines tuned to make it more realistic while increasing/decreasing the throttle
Top Speed: 1500 mph at an altitude above 20000 ft

Airbrakes for landing

Reduce the throttle in advance, landing speed about 180mph, and bring down the VTOL to open the air brakes. She is a gentle lady at landing.

HISTORY:

The desire for a second-generation supersonic aircraft has remained within some elements of the aviation industry, and several concepts have emerged since the retirement of Concorde.

In October 2022, Win's Wings Design Bureau took its first flight SST-W100 supersonic business jet capable of flying Mach 2.1. It can carry 12 passengers, is quieter, and is 30% more efficient than the Concorde. It can fly from Los Angeles to Sydney in 5.5 hours. It is planned to go into service in 2029. This Mark-2 version features the canards for a better stability and also, more luxurious faux leather interiors.

@NTH those were brake flaps to slow down while landing

@WinsWings on both this aircraft and the last one, are the flaps meant to open like a A-10, or is it to fix the physics of the aircraft, and would not be applied, if this aircraft was theoretically used in reality?

@Apollo018362 Like this plane, I did not have a blueprint, and I did not use my sketch as a blueprint either. But I have the proportion in my mind.

@ToeTips Well, I never thought about it, I have some new idea brewing in my head -and this is just a fix and "facelift" to my 2-year-old concept. The other one got 54 K+ downloads, which is quite successful.
