Document I.A: Synopsis

---

The F/A-404 is a single-seat multirole fighter created by the Corporation for the German Luftwaffe and is its fifteenth aircraft. It inherits the VII.ADG engines from its Generation 4 predecessors due to budget cuts brought on by the production of the XVII.JRA engines of the XFA-349 and XFA-401. It also has variable wing sweep systems that came from the XFA-328.

The F/A-404 uses the Corporation's old VII.ADG engines and the variable-sweep wings present on the XFA-328. 85% of its external parts is built from titanium to deal with the frictional heat inherent in its high speeds.

The Unbekannt ditches the Malcolm weapon set from the XFA-401, and instead uses a revised version of the H5 weapons suite designated H13 Draven.

Document I.D: Production

---

The F/A-404 currently has 10 prototype units and 53 production units as of mid-2028, though the DHC has plans to reach 750 production units by early 2029. It obtained its nickname Unbekannt due to lack of readable entries of the F/A-404's prototypes in the Luftwaffe databases, which is caused by Darkhound expunging and redacting most entries to keep production of the aircraft under confidence stricter than normal.
