A Medium-light aircraft is a special type of plane that does not require a full pilots lisense, but the pilot does need a drivers license with a special stamp signaling that he/she has taken a basic course on how to fly a plane. Medium light craft must have 2 engines and can have no more than a 100mph top speed, and can not weight more than 2 1/2 tons. The Uorlin ML-53 is often used as a benchmark to judge other Medium Light craft.
