The Aerotech A-28 was a pioneer of monowing flight. It was developed in the early thirties from the previous A-27, using similar fuseage shape and wing design. It was a small, single engine, single seater recreational plane, that pioneered the usage of flaps. It was used for private ownership and cruising and sometimes for pilot training. It is not really an aerobatic plane, it had only a small four cylinder engine, producing just enough power and then a bit more. It is capable of rolls, but is too underpowered for loops. It is a very nice flyer, and is just perfect for touring Krakabloa at a leisurely pace.
FLYING INSTRUCTIONS: Set flaps at a little less than half, then full throttle and let it lift off by itself, or pull up gently. Stay above half throttle during flight, and for landing, set flaps just under half, and adjust throttle as needed. Happy flying, GT3TobyRS.
