12th March 2022 modular jet type A 7.7
Introduction
After seeing a few images of the Aeralis Dart project i thought that would be an interesting thing to play with. Only some project artwork is availiable, no 3 views etc so i did things old school and just made something similar based on the artwork. All aircraft are simple to look at but fly nicely and are designed for their function, for instance all will take off by themselves with full throttle and half flaps but Type A will take off sooner than the Type D etc. The type C single jet trainer has a much slower approach / stall speed than others (I landed it around 80kts without stalling). I decided to leave it at 4 types for now:
Type A
Type B

Type C

Type D

Controls
Mostly the same across aircraft but with the following specifics:
AG1 = turn on engines
AG2 = arrestor hook (when fitted)
AG6 = extend refuel drogues (when fitted)
AG7 = fold wings (when fitted)
VTOL dn = flaps
Pictures
Type A going fast
Type B dogfighting a SeaLightning

it kinda reminds of the Yak-141 bruh
@RamboJutter
Fair.
@FeatherWing I save a build with the date I start building, I never know the name of the aircraft till the end as builds have a habit of varying during construction. It also helps find unfinished builds.
@RamboJutter
Random question, but why do you put a recent date at the front of the build's name?
@RamboJutter also if rumors are true the UK will be replacing the Hawk trainers with these
@RamboJutter faster roll because "muh agility!"
@Liquidfox01 yeah the concept and artwork look good, be interesting to see how it develops.
@AVFLYER ive used the all moving tail for roll, pitch and trim. It rolls perfectly well as is though, why do you want it to roll faster?
omg is that the AIM-9Z!!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!
Ive seen 3D views of this trainer and its modularity and i have to say im impressed with the design, great build
ngl im faster the the f4 phantom
(F4 Phantom mach 2.2 Faster then the 4th, 5th Generation Jet)
(Based On "It's not what you think" Channel)
Hi there, I a, trying to make the roll rate a bit quicker. What did you use for roll? Because I’ve tried so much to make it better.
