Simple Lockheed U2 Dragon Lady
Greetings all! :) This is the Lockheed U2 that I recreated in Simpleplanes. It has a fully functional cockpit, though it's not HiStOrIcalLy AcCuRaTe.
Controls:
I designed and tested this plane to be VR friendly, so it should be easy to fly in VR.
Flaps: VTOL
Canopy: AG 1
Beacon Lights: AG 2 and cockpit switch
Landing Lights: AG 3 and cockpit switch
Strobe Lights: AG 4 and cockpit switch
Air-Brake: AG 5 (is adjustable with cockpit lever in VR)
I'm not super great at making very detailed planes, so I decided to keep it simple when making this plane. I started making this plane a long time ago (before the blueprint tool). After a multi-year hiatus, I came back to a much more polished game. The blueprint system, new cockpits and controls, and built-in nudging made building in this game so much easier. I had a lot of fun making this plane. I am looking forward to getting back into the community!
