Auto Credit Based on Hahahahaahahshs's 1940s -50s fighterjet challenge
Specified under an emergency war program for the British Royal Navy in 1944 the Attacker first flew in 1946. However fleet acceptance didnt happen until 1951 by which time the plane was pretty much obsolete. Never flown in combat, the plane however gave pilots and crew the initial opportunity to fly jets off the UKs relatively small armoured carriers. 600mph at 25,000 feet, stall speed about 110mph, 8 rockets or four bombs and 4x20mm cannon. By all accounts unreliable,, poor rolll rate and the tail wheel setup being far from ideal for deck handlingit was out of service by 1956
