My first helicopter

187 Bossman2  5.6 years ago

Please dont judge my helicopter. It flies really well. I managed to fly it and land it perfectly. Idk about you but it might be harder for you since this update is new. I tried the begginer helicopter they added to see how it flies. Again please dont judge about how it looks and the gas blocks. I had to add the gas blocks for fuel. Without it i couldnt get fuel. If you like this please download and give an upvote or give a comment. Thanks :3 and sorry if you can’t fly it. You have to go easy on the controls. You can’t oversteer or it flips on you.

I tried a 4CH fixed wing( no ailerons, can't roll, lol) and my friend flew it into a basketball goal. (which, obviously, wrecked it)
I had flown a 6-CH helicopter (1 main rotor) and I tried to flash the firmware and bricked it
I had build successful large-frame quadcopter. (the smaller one use 9-inch propellers and the big one use like, 16-inch propellers)
the large one have the 650 frame and the small one 500 frame.
I wanted what's more like a 300 frame (with 7-inch 3 blade propellers) with most of the setup from my smaller quad
I mean, carrying around such big objects aren't easy.
The big one use 10 AH 6S, and the small one runs in 4 AH 3S (or 4S, configurable)
Good luck with your drones too

Sorry to hear you don’t like my helicopters. Tbh I saw the helicopter given by jundroo but it’s just way too confusing for me to do. Oh also I got into the hobby of flying Rc helicopters since I was like 5 and I used to fly quads at 9 but all of my quads are messed up or something and needs repairs. I also fly a blade MSR an old blade helicopter that’s 4CH. Idk much about you and your hobby for drones and helicopters. But if you’re just starting I wish you good luck into succeeding into 4ch and 6ch helicopters. Myself I haven’t gotten into 6ch yet due to not being able to learn stunts. I’m stuck at 4ch XD@CDRxavier

And no, I have been flying real helicopters (RC helicopters). The controls in Skmpleplanes just made it sound way too easy.
For most of the flights in my first trashy drone, it's either rough landing or crash-landing.
But that drone cost like $10 anyway, so yeah.
Second helicopter cost me $30. Did a reasonable tour around the classroom without dying
    And other irrelevant stuff

    Go have fun.

I have to say something about all of your helicopters.
To say (in a rude way), these are made out of sticks.
    Look at the front view.
Jundroo give the Gator 2 as a good example of what a helicopter should look like, more or less.
It's good that you make flyavle machines on your own, but it's a little .... meh.
Make it look fat! This one's skinny enough that it appear to be starving for months
I believe the result will be slightly more pleasing

I’ll try my best. Understand that this is my first helicopter and it would take me forever to do that. Give me time and I’ll do my best to give you a helicopter that satisfies your like of helicopters @dinokid

Sorry to whoever can’t fly it. You have to go easy on the controls. Don’t over steer or it will flip over
