currnetly trying to make one but it accrlerates so fast the cockpit literaly goes at the speed you are going before you start the funny business

Achieved this, rarely, with that high a speed having a negative value. I think you ought to allow -670,616,629mph as well as +670,616,629 since there really is no "up" or "down" in space.
