Storm T2310-C (LQ)

It's not an exact design, I built it as I remembered it from KOTR.
Low Q- Minimal aesthetics..... okay, Not minimal, hundred parts and 58kb.

No kidding, this is not sleeky, and yes, the trailer can be detached and also..... reattached. Detailed instructions below.

Trim down/up = Engine D/R
Roll = Steering
Yaw = Rear wheel steering
Throttle = power boost for >20° climbs
VTOL down = trailer piston.

Some stats for no reason:
Max speed= 160/130 with/without trailer
Safe offroad speed= 80/60
Max climbing angle= 20° without boost
Brake power=100-0mph in 5-6 seconds.

#Group 1 for Gyro stabilizer in case it tips over, which is very unlikely.
#Group 7 detaches the trailer & toggles Piston.
#Camera 1 is rearview(free)- for helping position the cab to reattach the trailer.

(Arright, We know it's not possible 'yet' to reattach something after its been detached. This is merely my closest attempt to achieve that. Blame the game if something unreal happens;)

+Change to Cam 1. From still & preferably level position,
move VTOL down about 75%. Detach with Gr. 7 and hold down brakes until both sides stop, or don't.
+Deactivating 7 deactivates the piston, and the clingy trailer sits still like your puppy.

reattaching:
+VTOL down full. Also Activate Gr. 7.... remember that 7 toggles vtol.
GET into position, use both steerings, and two different viewpoints(orbit+cam1) to do this. Slow is fast here. The trailer should be a little higher in the front end. Position the Cab's 'erect' part right under the trailers 'gap' hole. Slowly move VTOL up and observe. You'll know it's in correct position if the two lines get together without any problems.
Success depends on your accuracy and practice. It's not hard at all if you do it slow.

*Note that the trailer is no longer recognized by the game as a part of the Cab as soon you disconnect it. Which is why it's likely to suffer overstress or get out of the connection all by itself. It WILL NOT TOLERATE FAST ACCELERATION or BIG BUMPS. So, don't pull too fast and expect it to disconnect on heavily bumpy areas.
Safe speed limit will be reduced to 50mph, Unless you are on level ground.
Just try out and learn for yourself.

Runs good on 1GB ram, with Medium Physics and high graphics settings.

Don't mirror before moving the cockpit to the center, duh....

move/add cameras to determine the positions better. Not necessary if you can improvise though.

I don't know, but disabling suspensions might prevent many unreal disasters.

one rare but possible bug could be the vehicle pulling a bit to either side while driving straight- It might because of asymmetric drag. but it comes and goes and probably doesn't exist on High physics.
