Fully Mechanical Trabant 601
Disclaimer: This vehicle is NOT designed for speed and only has a top speed of a puny 24mph.
It is fully mechanical and is driven by an engine, clutch, 3-speed transmission, driveshaft and differential.
This vehicle is just a fun proofs of concept of gears and the Trabant look was only chosen because of the slow top speed.
How to drive:
-THROTTLE to rev up the engine, ROLL to turn.
Guide on how to operate the transmission and clutch:
1) Move TRIM up fully to engage the clutch and couple the engine to the transmission. This may take a few gos to get it perfect.
2)Leave VTOL in the middle notch for 1st gear (4:1 - Top speed 8mph) and throttle up to 100%
3) Bump up VTOL a notch once the vehicle has gained speed. This will engage 2nd gear (1:1 - Top speed 20mph)
4) Bring VTOL up to the top notch for 3rd gear (2:3 - Top speed 24mph)
-To engage reverse, VTOL all the way down and turn on and then turn off ACTIVATION GROUP 2. This will reverse the rotation of the engine itself. Then simply flick VTOL back to the middle notch and drive as you would normally.
-To disengage reverse, bring VTOL to the middle notch and turn on and off ACTIVATION GROUP 2.
-To open up the hood, bring VTOL all the way down and activate GROUP 3.

This is so cool! Are you going to build more?
This is actually the coolest thing i've seen on this site.
Ah yees, blyatiful Soviet technology. Спасибо
I prefer planes to cars , but the construction is really beautiful . Very nice job .
