Maxim Gun
The infamous Maxim Gun, this build based off of the MG 08, a German copy of the Maxim. As the standard heavy machine gun of the Imperial German Army, it was used for anti-infantry purposes, and was later employed on aircraft as both offensive armament for fighters and defensive armament for observers. A variant in the 13.2mm TuF (Tank und Flieger) cartridge existed for use against tanks and aircraft, as the name implies. It fires between 300 and 450 rpm, with 350 rpm the most common setting. The Maxim was mounted on a variety of mounts. While the tripod would be the most common, the Germans employed a sled-type mount, and the Russians used a wheeled mount with gun shield. Of course, this lacks any, so one can mount tripods or the sled mount.

@Pilotmario The ARC-48 is complete.
I believe putting this on a tank chassis would be devastating @Pilotmario
@Pilotmario A WORLD WAR FIVE rp plz.
My ARC-48 is nearing completion. All it needs is a paint job.
@Pilotmario maybe u can make a WWV?
Okay. Sounds good! @PyrusEnderhunter
@Pilotmario by the way, I making the I.S.F.O.S arsenal. It doing great.
@Pilotmario oh, yeah.. Derp.
Which were defended by machine guns like this. @PyrusEnderhunter
@Pilotmario oh, by the way, I am making the I.S.F.O.S arsenal of weaponry. First with the ARC-48 assault rifle.
@Pilotmario true, but tanks were also made to breach trenchlines.
Well, the Maxim gun was the principal reason why horse cavalry was replaced by tanks. @PyrusEnderhunter
I do to. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@Pilotmario WW1 without the maxim is a WW1 with less deaths.
@PINK oh and yes you're right Steel doesn't exist naturally. Even The Quran Says so (sorry had to bring it up ._.)
@Pilotmario by the way. I'm glad to be a friend with you. I mean, I see it that way. :)
@PINK Uh... Iron Ore? Iron is converted to Pig Iron Then Cast Iron and if I'm correct high carbon steel.
Pig Iron was used in WWI though, it's the rawest form of Iron.
Steel doesn't exist naturally, and pot steel is referring to a cheaply made low quality steel . . . that is really the only steel that you can make in huge quantities.
Of note . . . we won't be facing these machines due to the "Ottoman Border System" (This was mean to be posted on your Turtel, but due to page loading issues . . . I am posting it here) .@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation @Pilotmario
Yeah. They're all pretty much the same. @PINK
@Pilotmario Yeah true. This was an icon of WWI
@Pilotmario We might just use this and put a gun shield and wheels on it . . . however . . .I want to design my own first.
@YuukaNeko Going real old school here.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Have some. The Turks used them historically.
@CaesiciusPlanes What is WWI without the Maxim?
