After the resounding failures that were the Paulus Models 1 and 2, We went back to the drawing board to build a more conventional design. The result was the Model 3. While lacking the distinctive long noses of our initial racers, the Model 3 proved to be a superb design, breaking 600 mph on its first test flight. Design features were incorperated ito the previous two designs,and the Model 3 became the basis for further designs.
