The Mark 14 Wet-Heater Torpedo (Tube Launched)

This is the Wet-Heater version of our Mark 14 replica. The Waterjet version should be completed in the future. We understand that the only surface launched torpedo back then was the Mark 15, but we decided not to build a submarine.

The Mark 14 torpedo was the United States Navy's standard submarine-launched anti-ship torpedo of World War II. By the end of World War II, the Mark 14 torpedo was a reliable weapon ultimately remaining in service for almost 40 years in the U.S. Navy, and even longer with other navies.

Since the Waterjet version is still being worked on, we decided to publish what we have (so far) of a Mark 14 propeller version.

The 3 extra platforms connected to the sides and front of the main one can be removed. These platforms were used when the launcher was placed directly on the water.

  • Maximum Top Speed of 40 Miles per Hour
  • Smaller 453 kilogram Warhead
  • Vertical Fins can be used with Yaw
  • Can be dropped from an aircraft

    1. Maximum drop height of 170 Feet

    2. Maximum drop speed of 850 Miles per Hour

This is only a prototype, and might get updated in the future.

We want to apologize for the wait and lack of updates. It is up to you to decide if the wait was worth it.

Thanks
