SNAW Hi-Tech Warbird

48.8k Baldovino  6.3 years ago

* WHY THIS MODEL *

After a very long series of helicopters really working as such, jet sustained aircraft, spaceships, vertical take-off aircraft and complex replicas I wanted to go back to the origins, and create a "simple plane" completely out of my imagination. I also wanted to try a new construction method that would allow me to wrap the colors around three-dimensional wings and round-section fuselages in soft curves. This is what came out. An acrobatic airplane, very fast and ninble like a feather, extremely fun to build and incredibly fun to fly around the sky.

* RECIPE FOR OBTAINING A PLANE AS THIS *

Go to Hangar C, where the 12-meter mega-blender powered by a gas turbine is located, and insert inside:

  • A 1700 HP Rolls Royce Merlin engine
  • Sixty cans of spray paint with the colors of a well-known sponsor, very rich and already involved in air events.
  • The projects of a WWII warbird of your choice, for example a P-51
  • The projects of a modern racing plane of your choice.
  • The projects of a modern acrobatic airplane of your choice.
  • Some tons of mixed high-tech materials (titanium, carbon, kevlar and similar)

Start the mega blender and blend at maximum speed for 2 days. At the end of the two days on your monitor there is something similar to what I did.
