Developed under the codename of project stummerschatten ("Silent Shadow") after the treaty of Steffissiedeln was relieved, the Spriggan is a long range heavy penetration strategic bomber, featuring low observable stealth technology designed for penetrating dense anti-aircraft defenses. The bomber is capable of deploying both conventional and thermonuclear weapons. The Spriggan is Dieswens first aircraft capable of carrying large air to surface standoff weapons while still being virtually undetectable on radar.

Initial designs of the aircraft featured a tailess frame and larger seat-by-seat cockpit, however, due to price cuts to the aircraft's native budget, a U-tail system was set onto the aircraft to add stability and cut technological costs and the canopy was narrowed to add further stealth to the aircraft.
