PX-1B Wingblade Heavy
The PX-1B Wingblade "Heavy" was a variant of the original PX-1A Wingblade. Modified for carrier landings/take-offs the design was made more compact, the engines were swapped out for more powerful ones, and landing gear made more robust and stable. It's eight machine guns were replaced with twin gattling cannons. The "Heavy" moniker was added to the Wingblade name because despite it's more compact shape the fighter weighed 200lbs more than the original. For those that don't know this design came from an idea for a comic I had. The design is meant to be an evolution of the PX-1A Wingblade. It has a topspeed of 520mph and can actually takeoff from the USS Tiny. *Note Don't pull up too hard on take off, to avoid prop strike. Also the airbrakes are controlled through the VTOL controls.
