The Pike II was a further development of the Pike supersonic fighter, which was short lived due to lack of orders and poor design. The Pike II was a low cost interceptor meant to prioritize speed and quick turns. It would go on to become the backbone of Maywar's fleet of fighters and interceptors. It would see heavy use in Krakabloa's "Pig Alley" against the Wraith, Thunderhead, Gator and Howzer's own Gannet and Delta II. This variant is not the earliest, but is the first with more capable missiles and an improved radar.
