Designed as a successor to the Sukhoi SU-30MKI used by India, the SU-33MKI feautured folding wings, an arresting hook, and other necessities for carrier-based operations. There are two variants of the SU-33MKI: The standard, which seats two, and the SU-33MKI-K, which seats a third member (in tandem with the second seat), more advanced anti-submarine avionics, higher weapons load, and an increase to maximum fuel capacity. The inital proposal for the development of the SU-33MKI was submitted by Russian pilot Valentina Kreschinski, who flew an SU-33 and then became a Sukhoi test pilot. The first flight was conducted on February 24, 2008 (the day is a Russian national holiday celebrating those who have served/are serving in the Russian armed forces). The flight was a success, with a carrier landing to finish it off. Production of the SU-33MKI and MKI-K wouldn't begin until April 21, 2018, with the first units being shipped to India the next month. It entered service the month after, and has remained a frontline fighter and submarine hunter since.

Anyways, should I upload the MKI-K? Looks-wise, it's not too different (just has a bigger bump, an extra canopy for the third crew member, and some minor changes) from the MKI. @DankDorito

:/
It's funny, because I actually used the frame of the aircraft I uploaded yesterday, but because I had to change the cockpit it saved it as a new plane! @DankDorito
महान भारतीय विमान!!
