The Gotha G.XVc was only a proposed upgrade of the G.XVb with a defensive gunner, but it was never built due to the war ending. Gothaer Waggonfabrik designed two potential iterations. the first being a basic addition of a turret in the opposite gondola, and the deletion of the third upper wing. the second being an up armed variant with two additional MG/08s in the nose for use against lightly armored/small targets, while still retaining the 70mm cannon for Zeppelins and heavier bombers. it also saw the deletion of the third engine behind the central gondola as it was equipped with the more powerful Siemens-Halske Sh.III. neither variants were built as they were deemed unnecessary, and the war would end before further development could continue.
