Fokker E.iii (the Fokker scourge!)

Optimised for dogfights with the AI!
You are able to get within 0.1 of a mile fairly quickly and then disintegrate the other plane in no time! If fighting another Fokker E.iii it may take a few more hits, but you will see it break apart and catch on fire in the process!
Credit to Kimcotupan15 for his shell ejection system.
Normal controls, and;
- AG1 to change (move back) the cockpit FOV.
- Camera 1 for dogfighting - the camera is elevated, pointed 10 degrees up and has a small sight.
Tips for dogfighting with the AI:
- Use the same plane for the opponent, or a plane with a top speed of around 200 mph.
- Start in close position (these planes are not fast).
- After you start, you will end up tailing the opponent by pitching up (most of the time). You can switch to camera 1 (this will look ‘up’) which will help you observe the direction of roll of the opponent.
- The basic strategy is to anticipate the next turn of the opponent, turn at the same time and ‘cut the corner’ each time.
- If you cannot observe the opponent ie. he is out of view/too close/or on your tail; pitch up, place the green target at the top of the screen, then don’t roll. If the green target starts to move to the right, roll to the right keeping the target at the top. If it continues to move right, then slowly roll further until the green target is a little to the left, all the time pitching up.
- Keep doing this and soon you will be right on the opponents tail - you know what to do after that!
Other notes:
- Uses wing flexing to roll.
- The fuel gauge is accurate as long as you fly continuously.
- The altimeter and compass move but are fake.
- The AI use the rudder (quick left/right) when coming at you head on. I had to optimise the rudder so the movement was small and therefore the AI more accurate and deadly!
Enjoy

@xNotDumb
WoW 11,111 downloads.
That's a rare number
Monoplane in ww1
Too fast
Dude why.is there a humming sound coming from the plane its kinda irritating
Thanks!
@Hedero
Wow,you're pretty much pushing the limits of SP detail.Like,There's a full fledge interior,cables,engine detail,proper color etc.! Its just gorgeous my dude!I honestly don't see many aircraft with that level of attention.
Well done
100?
@TulIy2001
lol 100
I also need to figure out a way for the rotary engine to work in sync with the prop, it’s going to be nine cylinder @SpiritusRaptor
I have a very highly burst count but also an infinite time between bursts, but I better just show you @SpiritusRaptor
Also I’m in eastern US so sorry about delayed responses
And difficult to make limited ammo.... guns have the variable forntotal ammo but it doesn’t do anything.
@Chancey21
Sure thing,, donyou want to send me a kink so I can look at it?
@Chancey21
I need help making a companion to this airplane, I'm making a dogfighting Fokker Dr1 with limited ammo, and I can't stop the shell ejects from running into the wings. Can you help me? @SpiritusRaptor
Just wow
Use the following

how did you insert pictures into your plane’s description?
@PlanesOfOld Thanks... Ahh thats right, wing warping....
Splendid.
Oh And BTW the term for wing flexing is 'Wing Warping' :)
@EmirAirIndustries Thanks and all good!
Open Hats for you. I wish can upvote but i only have 15 points
Thanks for your comments. The shells are really for asthetics only, and this is a bit of an evolution process, so a bit smaller and faster ejection will be the next type.
@SnoWFLakE0s
Oh, I see. That's a great idea- to put that cheeky little minigun there. It also gives a rotational gearbox feel, which contributes to the aesthetics of the gun as well. Highly commendable. Just one thing, is there no way to have the cartridge ejection be less "wafty"? The cartridges seem to float a bit more than it should. Otherwise, great build.
On a side note, I also want to add that shells are applicable to large-caliber cannons, not medium arms.
THESE THINGS ARE DURABLE AS HELL! I watched one being flown by AI fly for about 5 minutes with half of both wings missing
