1,673 404unknown@Wahoo12 I dun think planesofold will not know M1Abrams,even hongkonger(me) knows M1Abrams :/ And as u know, many stories on the battlefield can be just fake. Just like people dun know if Kv6 even exist, and if 1 Maus is even completed and get into action :/9.4 years ago

6,953 Wahoo12@planesofold since you are from england you might not know about the M1 Abrams, which uses the depleted uranium armor. In Iraq and M1 Abrams broke down so the crew of another tank had to destroy it. They couldnt penetrate its armor.9.4 years ago

108 lolepopTo planesofold, depleted uranium is in fact used in armo(u)r, it is also not brittle and is almost 70% denser than lead. Yes, although it poses some threat to humans, it has been used and proven to work as plating inbetween as reinforcements. Although not meant to be used in large amounts. 43.9k PlanesOfOldHaving depleted uranium armour will not help at all as its brittle and will shatter and bounce around the inside of the tank and if you have one crew member it's gonna. Get easily knocked out also the crewman would have to use a hazmat suit to protect him from the armour and if he wasn't wearing one due to the sheer quantity of uranium armour he would die in about half an hour and being inside an already hot tank with depleted uranium armour making it hotter and the poor guy is in a hazmat suit well his reflexes ain't gonna be that good and he will already have to multitask also you Ma know that unless you plan a visit to your nearest fission reactor and wait say, 50-100 years for it to deplete then you aren't gonna make many of these :) I'm very knowledgable about tanks and power :) trust me9.4 years ago
