Object 311 Version 2
Notes
-Fun to drive
-Took me a while to build, so please enjoy!
Controls
-Action group 1: Toggle main cannon
-Action group 2: Toggle tail lights
-Action group 3: Toggle other lights
-Action group 5: Toggle elevation/depression of anti-tank rocket mount (use trim to adjust angle. I'd recommend putting it up about half-way for best results)
-Action group 8: Toggle machine gun controls
Designed in 1949 as a light MBT, the Object 311 sported many favorable characteristics. First, it had good turret armor: 120mm (without factoring in effective armor) on the front, 50mm on the sides, and 40mm at the rear. The hull armor is where the tank suffered however, with only 30mm (with effective armor factored in, it only had 100mm of armor) on the front, 20mm at the sides, and 20mm at the rear. It was equipped with a 100mm main cannon, a 12.7mm cannon, and a mount for either another, much smaller turret (equipped with a 37mm autocannon), or 10 anti-tank rocket pods. The design never left the drawing board, and was lost to the secrecy of the Soviet Union.
