Mansyu Ki-98
The Mansyu Ki-98 was a ground attack aircraft during World War II developed by Manshukoku Hikoki K.K and planned to be operated by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force.
One prototype unit of Mansyu Ki-98 was made at a factory in Harbin. Work on this aircraft had begun in 1944 but work on the aircraft was hampered by air raids and Allied bombing in the Harbin area until January 1945.
Most of the Mansyu Ki-98 components were still in the works stage and they could not be assembled at the time of the Soviet Union's invasion of Manchuria in August 1945, and finally the Command of the highest forces in Manchuria ordered to burn and destroy Mansyu Ki documents and materials -98 so as not to fall into the hands of the Soviet Union.
