Su-25 "Frogfoot"

~~~~Hyper-Realistic Series~~~~
(Mobile devices will need to lower Physics Settings only)
VTOL Slider = Nose gear (slide down)
Group 1 & 2 = Kh-29l Kedge anti-ground missiles
Group 3 & 4 = R-60 Aphid anti-air missiles
Throttle Down/Brakes = Airbrakes
The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO designation: "Frogfoot”, is a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft developed in the Soviet Union by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. It was designed to provide close air support for the Soviet Ground Forces. This CAS aircraft is often described as being analogous to the American A-10, but the Frogfoot has matured into a more sophisticated warplane with multiple variants and offensive roles.
The wings have ten pylons (this replica has eight) for carrying a range of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapon systems selected for the mission. This rendition is outfitted with two Kh-29l “Kedge” air-to-ground missiles, two B-13L rocket pods, two R-60 “Aphid” air-to-air missiles, and two external fuel tanks. As a humbly named “flying tank”, the Su-25 can carry a wide variety of munitions to tailor it's armament to specific missions. Other features on this replica include an accurate canopy view, wing and tail decals, and fully customized airbrakes.
Well I'm back, and I'm coming out swinging. This is by far and large the most accurately detailed and time consuming (nearly 200 hours!!!) replica I have built to date. It was a royal pain to finish but I am happy with the end result. But because it is relies on extensive part-clipping and modded XML files, she can be a little fussy (and makes a very pretty mess when you crash). She flies superb but may wiggle a bit after performing exaggerated maneuvers.
I had to forgo rotator-based retractable landing gear because of some weird bug that causes the plane to lose thrust power while on the ground (the beta fixed this but it didn't cooperate with the part clipping used on the craft). So ground clearance is low and that makes landing challenging (but doable). I also had to remove some extra cosmetic detailing because it caused lag on mobile devices. She works at the highest graphics settings but the physics settings will need to be lowered on mobile devices!!
As a side note; in the haze of a drunken hour down in Mexico, I expertly and accidentally deleted my list of people’s plane recommendations off my iPad. I remembered most of them but I know I lost a couple. So if you could recommend any plane you'd like to see, I'll slap ‘em right on the list!
Enjoy!!!!!!
    @The1ultimate1builder It's a NATO Designation for Soviet aircrafts. For example all fighters or attack aircrafts starts with the letter F like Fulcrum Flanker Fullback Frogfoot, the bombers with B like Bear Blackjack etc.
    @planelover400 Also, I've been leaving your mosquito half built and waiting for the update. But I see you are on iOS and so you probably wont get the update until a couple weeks after everyone else. I'll try to finish it up before the update and without using the new parts.
    @planelover400 I actually retrofitted my Super Tomcat to have sweeping wings. I never uploaded it because I don't like uploading multiples of the same craft (I already got 3 tomcats up...) Also it doesn't really hold up to my current style and level of replicas. I might revisit it, but not anytime soon.
    @Scriefers can you make an improved model of your F-14 TomCat with rotators and rotating wings like your F-111 Aardvark?
    @Kevpilot The three different airfoils (symmetric, semi-symmetric, and flat bottom) Provide varying degrees of lift. Symmetric causes the least amount while flat bottom provides the most amount of lift. So if your plane is particularly nose heavy (it always tilts down when flying), try making the main wings have more lift (make some or all the wing pieces semi- or flat). It is important to use the same airfoil type in wings that are on opposites of each other. If you don't one side may have more lift than the other and it will cause the plane to constantly roll. This game (and flight in general) is all about balancing lift, mass, and speed.
    Thanks, what does "flat bottom" airfoil do? @Scriefers
    @Kevpilot it's damn near impossible to gauge which airfoils to use without seeing how the plane handles as it is now. I'd say systematically try different combinations of symmetric, semi-symmetric, and flat until you get the desired stability. Or you can upload it and I can take a crack at it. I've kind of found myself doing some free-lance work for other builders lately lol.
