How do i put a detacher on so i can put in subassemblies? Pls help

Once you have done that you then go to the menu where u get parts and scroll down to Sub Assemblies and drag ur plane in.
Remove the cockpit and hold down the plane with your cursor. Than drag it to the top where it shows the sub assembly logo and let go there you go!
