MAE's solution to the question of close air support and tactical bombing, the Cavalier was a superlative machine. Supremely fast and equipped with numerous countermeasures, the Cavalier had the speed and defences to get to almost any target. Coupled with its excellent low altitude handling, massive internal bombload, multiple external hardpoints and terrifying nose-mounted rotary cannon, the Cavalier became the premier ground attack aircraft on the market. Ugly but brutally effective, the Cavalier dictated the terms any future attack aircraft had to comply with.
