Backstory:

The proposed Attack aircraft variant of the D'analyse Cardinale XSP-1 cargo Seaplane. The Cargo compartment of the base aircraft has been replaced Fire Control System computers and the countermeasure dispensers.

By merit of luck, the wings were high enough to let the bombs clear the water, although Fontaine-built weapons seem to be more waterproof than those built by other nations.

Since the F/A SP-1 "Ardent" was derived from a cargo seaplane, it boasts a large payload capacity, which means it can be very versatile in terms of its armament. It can also be configured to counter anti ground and anti ship threats at the same time.

If all the other armament isn't enough, the Seaplane's massive size also means it can hold twin 30mm machine guns for those targets avoiding Fontaine's Justice.

Despite the Ardent's amazing capabilities, the prototype was shelved due to an internal struggle involving the true identity of the Hydro Archon
