F-4S Phantom II
McDonnell Douglas F-4S Phantom II Version 2.5
For SimplePlanes
Designed as an interceptor, the F-4 Phantom would use superior speed and radar to fight aerial targets using long range semi-active radar-homing (SARH) AIM-7 Sparrows. However, this philosophy resulted in the F-4 lacking an internal cannon, which would be prove disadvantageous when Phantoms found themselves in dogfights with cannon-armed MiG-17’s, -19’s, and -21’s over Vietnam. While US Navy Phantoms were never received an internal cannon like their USAF counterpart, the F-4E, the F-4J would be fitted with an AN/APG-59 pulse-doppler radar and eventually upgraded to the F-4S, which implemented smokeless engines and later on, the F-4E’s Agile Eagle leading edge slats.
The F-4 Phantom was used by several countries in addition to the United States, including Japan, Egypt, and Israel, among others. Although, naval Phantoms were only used by the United States and the United Kingdom. Read more...

Author’s Notes
- Controls included in craft instructions.
- AG2 is a multipurpose activation group. With gear down and in the air, AG2 lowers the arrestor hook. With gear down while grounded, AG2 activates NWS high. With gear up (and presumably flying), AG2 extends the refueling probe.
- When performing carrier landings, keep AG2 activated until the arrestor hook automatically detaches.
- Will replace previous F-4S if downloaded without changing name.

Please make a f-4k model
will there be an E model?
@Gady13131 That's just the tag I put on my aircraft so I know which is mine
G4 is for the 4th gen of the standard/style I'm building in
@ReinMcDeer thank you for replying. What does RD G4 mean?
@Gady13131 NWS is nosewheel steering and NWS high increases the steering angle to 90 degrees, so you can turn sharper while taxiing on a carrier deck
What does NWS high mean
@ReinMcDeer Nice 👍
@Th3Missil3 Fixed!
Interestingly, it had to do with the hidden tiny wheel in the nosewheel, which is now removed. I sometimes have to use that since the pistons can make landing gear glitch out otherwise, but it seems like the aircraft works fine without it.
@ReinMcDeer oh thanks for explaining
@TwoTurboMan or the ADFX-01, would be cool though to have some ace combat planes made by him xD
@TwoTurboMan fastest upvote in the world
What if @ReinMcDeer Made a YF-23….🤔
@ReinMcDeer ooooo, I have one too but it's lore focused
@ThatKindaWeeb Maybe
I did start another project but it's still top secret atm :)
Excellent work
My favourite US jet
@ReinMcDeer Slight issue: I can't seem to get out of the elevators on the aircraft carrier. (It seems to be the front landing gear is what causing the issue)
@Robomo119E I see
@ThatKindaWeeb no all F-4S's are just upgraded F-4J's. Not the Japanese ones
@Robomo119E You mean the Japanese F-4s ,or is that smth different?
Fun fact about the F-4S all F-4S's were Updated F-4J's, since the F-4S was just a modernized F-4J
So, you gonna make Any of the older stuff? Like a remaster of your Crusader or Gripen?
Hey Rein, I'm back... @ReinMcDeer
@PlayMinecraft Nose Wheel Steering
NWS high lets the nosewheel steer more so you can taxi on a carrier easier
What is NWS?
