Glide Recovery Model Rocket Adaptation

9.0 years ago
Adaptation of the first glide recovery model rocket I designed, built, and flew. The original model rocket was Estes D Motor powered to minimize recovery range and Cub Yellow to make it easy to spot amongst the high grass. Operation: Takeoff, fly, and land normally. Trimmed for level flight under 20k feet. Not much fuel on board so keep the airfield in sight.
