Messerschmitt J-9 Sternschnuppe
The J-9 was a fighter-bomber equiped with 42 rocket pods, 4 machine guns, and 12 bombs. It was a dual-pilot plane with 4 jets on it and was capable of sustained sonic flight at 870 MPH. The J-9 was introduced by the Third Reich in 1949 and proved its worth in the Ethiopian War in 1951, where the J-9 carried out many bombing missions as well as succeeding in many dogfights with joint American-Soviet planes voulenteered for the war. The J-9 was a stepping stone for Nazi plane development and was used well into the early-mid 1960s, being retired in 1964 in favor of supersonic fighter jets and missiles as opposed to bombers. The design of this plane was inspired by the real life US plane, the F-82 Twin Mustang, as well as the Messerschmitt ME-262 Fighter Jet.

This plane is the first of many planes I will be making as part of a new alternative timeline where Operation Barbarossa was never carried out, resulting in the Third Reich coming out victorious in the Second World War.
