Auto Credit Based on Viper28's Carrier fighter challenge OVER
A light compact fighter commissioned by Admiral Viper for the navy's fleet of small carriers. This Raptor colloquially known as the Buzzard is equipped with 12 hard points which carry a variety of missiles, rockets and bombs. The plane is VTOL capable although this is dependent on weapon load, it's recommended that before you try landing you dispose of most of the ordinance. Clear of weapons the Buzzard is highly mobile and can reach speeds over 900mph. The use of skids instead of wheels saves on drag and weight also allowing the aircraft to land on short strips but she also has the power to take off in a conventional manner.

17.4k karlosdarknessDidn't want to stack lots of Vipers missiles on board as they seemed a little wobbly when I fitted them to start with so hope he doesn't mind that I have fitted them to a normal missile detachment and only used two. I worked on the bigger ones being radar guided medium range missiles, the Yellow ones they are Vipers, the blue wingtip mounted missiles are what I would consider short range heat seakers.9.5 years ago
