Designed in late 1957 as an alternative to contemporary Soviet jet bombers, the Tupolev TU-370 (NATO reporting name "Foxrose") was a fast, surprisingly agile, and versatile aircraft. It had a medium-sized payload, which meant that it was mostly used for "sting" operations; Get in quick, hit the target, and get out faster. It served with the Soviet Air Force, Ukrainian Air Force, and Yugoslavian Air Force until all models were pulled from service and subsequently scrapped in 1965.
