Supermarine Scimitar F.1
Feel free to send feedback, it's greatly appreciated!
Proudly presenting the Supermarine Scimitar F.1. After looking for a new plane to build, I settled on the Supermarine Scimitar F.1, used by the Royal Navy. A very different build style but I definitely enjoyed it. Has a fairly stable flight and takes off relatively smoothly with flaps down, or you can just not use flaps. The landing gear being used are the genric ones because the custom ones would cause issues in take off.
Scale 1:1
CONTROLS:
VTOL - Flaps
AG8 - Navigation Lights
Information:
The Supermarine Scimitar was a British naval fighter aircraft operated by the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. The prototype for the eventual production version flew in January 1956 and production aircraft were delivered in 1957. It saw service with the Royal Navy from 1958 until 1969.
76 were built.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
Fair enough @CoolPeach
I dunno, I made this ages ago. Didn’t really pay attention to blueprints.
@nuke778
why is the wing so big!
@CoolPeach np!
@Carsong1017
I guess thanks to you I'll be very close to the 10k
Thanks @WalrusAircraft
Nice version, good use of color.
Thanks for the feedback! @Treadmill103
Funny thing is, one of my other planes uses custom gear with no problems, I might see what I've done there. @ChiChiWerx
@CoolPeach gee, rudder is what I would use to "fix the problem". I have a build with custom gear which I'm working on, which does the same thing and I have to use rudder to stay on the runway...but, I think I'm going to keep the custom gear in my case. I'm not aware of any other fix for this recurring problem in SP. If you find out, I certainly would like to know!
Yes it would, it could be fixed (somehow) but I just don't know how @ChiChiWerx
not bad for your point-level! You have a new follower =)
I'm curious on the topic of how much of a problem the custom gear would cause on takeoffs? What would happen, would the airplane veer to one side or another?
Nice!
Thanks, although your planes look great as well @Athaya
Thanks @DownUnderWing
