SDP 60 Gonkiewicza
In Poland, the SDP 60 Gonkiewicza heavy tank destroyer project appeared in 1960. A well-armored vehicle would have high mobility. To achieve this, it would be equipped with one of the first variants of the GTD-1 gas turbine engine, a small but powerful engine with a planned power of 1,000 hp. Documentation for the engine was provided by the Soviet Union. Again, this country shared material about deep-rifled cannons with its Polish counterparts, and they developed a series of cannons based on this. The project was generally successful, but the vehicle was never produced due to its high cost.
