With Altirus having been at war for some time, the phrase "The Bomber Always Gets Through" was starting to show its age. The golden age of aviation meant as much to the military as it did to explorers and airliners, and Robania's decrepit bomber fleet was in desparate need of catching up. With heavily-armored, well-defended bomber squadrons exceeding their production capacity at the time, the army's Aviation Corps opted instead for a small, lightweight design, capable of outrunning interceptors and evading anti-air fire. In the hands of skilled pilots, the BL.1 made for a capable tactical bomber, ground-attack aircraft, and radar-equipped night fighter.

Has a max speed of about 450mph and a bomb load of 3,000lb. Standard loadout is 12 Boom 25s. Tail and nose guns are non-functional (though the nose-gun can fire).
