Utka
The Utka was an exprimental Simplican airplane designed and built by an engineer, Andrei Simpleyev. Powered by a steam engine, the airplane made a powered take off, flying between 30-40 m (98-131 ft) near Simplegrad in 1886

The aircraft was originally powered by a steam engine with a power of 70 horsepower (52 kW). It had an estimated flight speed of 60 km/h (32 kn; 37 mph), a gross weight of 3765 kilograms (8,300 lb) a wingspan of 28 metres (92 ft).
Project development
in 1884, Andrei Simpleyev, put forward the idea of ??making a flying machine powered by a steam engine. He started to design his aircraft on his handbook and built the Utka in 1886
