The M4 Sherman mine flail (AKA the “crab”) is a mine clearing variant of the M4A2 (or really any Sherman) made to, well clear mines by smacking the EVERLIVING FUCK out of them with a bunch of spinning chains, this obviously posed a risk to both the tank and nearby infantry, hence why the turret was rotated backwards when operating the flail.

I gotta admit it’s a Saunders tank because I’m too lazy to change it :p
