Dust Demon
In spite of the Dust Devil’s success, its heavy cost severely handicapped its potential. This was very apparent when compared to the MiG-K, which had a similar combat effectiveness at a significantly lower cost. Arabian engineers quickly got to work on a worthy replacement craft to the Dust Devil. The result was the Dust Demon, named by British volunteers working in Aleppo. Equipped with two 6mm caseless anti-infantry machine guns, two rocket pods, and a 250lb HE bomb, this plane was made to be used exclusively against ground targets. Due to Arabia’s low industrial capabilities, Dust Demons were considered to be highly valuable to the military and as such are equipped with a parachute (AG1) to preserve the plane in case it is shot down. As such, pilots are not issued personal parachutes and are instead instructed to remain in the plane upon crashing to engage in a last stand against any potential enemy recovery teams.
