Description

The Speedy Aerospace SA-1 (AKA SAI-1) is the company's first-ever airplane, with a biplane design, 2 crew design, and 3 prop engines. Only 2 of the planes were built.

History

Since the fight of the Wright Brothers in 1903 and news about the first airplane, a man from the British Caelmus Territories (AKA The Caelmus Union a fictional country I made up) gained interest in it and proceeded to find Speedy Aerospace (Now Speedy Aerospace Industries) after he founded his company, he and his team of 5 proceeded to build the company's first airplane, the SAI-1. The aircraft made its first on June 28, 1909, and the company's founder piloted it. The flight went smoothly until the plane crash-landed, the plane was damaged, but despite that, the first flight was a success and the founder went his way to build more airplane designs until he left in 1950 and passed away in in 1979 but he did witness his company grow from a small aircraft manufacturing company to a Civil and Defense Aerospace Company and pioneered the aviation industry in the Caelmus Union.
