This tanker was my unfinished side project for a while, it's been that way for a long time, even before I started the F-35 project.
The thing is when I use rotators linked like chain to make refueling hose, it's hitbox is bugged and prevent me to do the refueling.
I haven't figure it out until not long ago!!
I flipped it 90 degrees and it works fine, that's why the hose is pointing downward in editor, sorry about that.
Hope you enjoy this alternate way of aerial refueling.
Tips
- Spawn as normal AI, it'll fly in a straight line while maintaining altitude it spawned in.
- This plane fly about 520 km/h, higher than the default tanker.
- Immediately after connecting, give your plane some extra power because you are carrying extra drag from refueling drogue instead of the Wasp.
- Not recommended for human but if you find yourself flying it, just lock something as a target to enable full control.
- High physic recommended.
