The danzit class where a series of seven ship designed as colonial cruisers and as Arktish ship doctrine dictated when it came to colonial ship they use slow but efficient boiler, giving them an amazing range only comparable to dreadnoughts and aircraft carriers but in return they where fairly slow, the only notable engagements one of the ship took part was the attack on Penang where SMS jade was hit by a torpedo fired by the German ship SMS emden, accidentally saving the Russian protected cruiser RIN Zhemchug but it wasn’t in vain as when the SMS jade exploded do to the torpedo, some of the crew of the jade escaped the wreck and alerted the RIN zhemchug, the emden was quickly spotted by some of the crew of the Zhemchug and the Zhemchug quickly started firing at the Emden with one of there 4.7 inch gun unfortunately none of shots hit
